The finials featuring the eagle with outstretched wings holding an oak wreath with swastika in the center were used for banners of the SA and SS cavalry units, the mechanized as well as the flying corpses. This finial was designed by Casberg and manufactured by the workshop of the jeweler Otto Gahr and his wife Caroline (Werkstatt Otto u. Karolina Gahr). The company Otto Gahr was in charge of metal accessories production for all Nazi banners.
