By the law "On Fire Protection" dated 12.15.1933 the Fire-Fighting Service was transformed into a separate police unit for which Casberg designed the sketch of a new insignia that replaced the Prussian pattern. The insignia featured the national eagle with outstretched wings and head turned to the left on the background of a laurel leaves wreath holding the swastika in its claws. This model was introduced on 07.10.1934 and was used till 1936.
